Our Mission

Restorations exists to support survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking by providing long term residential housing and survivor-led peer programming.

Our vision

We will create a thriving, national survivor-led community that empowers survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking to a life of holistic, self-determined well being, and restoration.

OUR VALUES

Because of our foundational belief that every person is loved and made perfectly and purposefully by God with the right to live free from exploitation and abuse, and motivated by the example of Jesus, we value:

DIGNITY

We believe in the inherent value of all people and therefore strive to operate within an anti-oppression framework.

INCLUSIVITY

We value and commit to providing support to all survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking without regard to race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family status, genetic characteristics, disability, and criminal record.

DIVERSITY

We embrace diverse cultures, traditions, and beliefs and believe they add value to us collectively.

HOLISTIC CARE

We seek to empower survivors in their physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual restoration.

TRAUMA INFORMED

We recognize the widespread impact of trauma and respond by integrating this understanding into the development of our policies and practices.

SURVIVOR VOICE

We recognize the essential knowledge of survivors as critical to our program and delivery and seek to amplify their voice(s) and encourage them in their right to self-determination.

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

We choose to work in collaboration with community partners for the best interest of survivors.
