Paint and Panel: A Night with Restorations
Join us for a virtual night of guided painting with instruction by Heather de Haan of Creative Collective Burlington, followed by a question and answer panel with members of the Restorations staff. Learn more about what Restorations does for the community while getting to create a beautiful handmade piece of art.
What to Expect:
7:00-8:30pm: Heather de Haan will lead us in instruction of an original butterfly piece. Follow along step by step as Heather creates this piece. We are so grateful to Heather for donating her time for this event. *List of materials required will be sent after ticket purchase ( approx. cost $12)*
More about Heather: "Since I was a young child, spending countless hours stretched out on the floor of my bedroom immersed in my sketchbook, creating and designing have been a part of my everyday life. With a background in the fashion design industry, I have pivoted into facilitating accessible creativity in community for all ages and stages in life.
I enjoy working with beginner artists in the safe environment of the art studio to learn skills and techniques and unlock their creative potential. I believe that the creative process is not defined by perfection, but by exploration, growth mindset, and that "making" is necessary, healing, and soul filling. I enjoy all forms of art, especially painting (mostly acrylics), creating mixed media, murals/street art, and am currently discovering my evolving personal artistic style. I look forward to meeting you and potentially creating with you!"
8:30-9:00pm: Members of the Restorations staff including Interim Executive Director, Fiorella Kuczma, will join the panel to answer your questions about Restorations, who we are, and what we do for the community. This is an amazing opportunity to learn about Restorations from our staff who are passionate about educating our community and supporters! *Please submit any questions you would like to hear discussed during the panel with your ticket purchase*
We can’t wait for you to join us for our paint and panel night!
