Night of Magic will be hosted at Carmens Banquet Centre on Friday, October 4. Doors wll open at 6:00 PM and the evening will wrap upon later than 11:00 PM.

Suggested dress code is semi-formal.
What does that mean?! Here’s what this website has to say:
A semi-formal dress code is best described as being more formal than what you would wear to an office, but slightly less formal than what you would wear to a formal event.

Parking is free at Carmen’s Banquet Centre, and there are quite a few spots for guests. That being said, we have been told that it will be a full house at the venue that evening with other events being held in other rooms. There is parking at the front of Carmen’s, behind Carmen’s (at “C Hotel”), and an overflow lot across the street (on Anchor Road).

If you purchased a table, or the guest of an individual who purchased a table, these tables will be marked with the table purchaser’s name.
If you purchased single tickets, seating is “general seating.”
There will also be volunteers available to help direct guests to their seats.

Yes, there is a cash bar with an assortment of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.

The “cash bar” accepts cash - and also debit and credit card!
We recommend bringing cash for raffle prize tickets.
If you would like to donate to Restorations at the event, there will be opportunity to do so via cash, cheque, credit card, PayPal, and through our website.

There will be free coat racks available for guests to hang their coats in the foyer of the venue. Please note that these coat racks are not staffed and the venue nor Restorations are responsible for missing items.

As long as you’ve purchased your ticket online or have the name of the individual who purchased your ticket/table, we can consult our guest list upon your arrival!

While the live entertainment is definitely not graphic, the evening is intended to be for adults.

This fundraising evening is all in support of Restorations Second Stage Homes. Restorations exists to support Survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking by providing long term residential housing, survivor-led peer programming, and holistic care.
Your tickets help fund our residential program at Nancy's House, our Survivor-Led Peer Support program, and operational costs of supporting survivors.

There are many ways to provide additional support! You can donate through our website, or when ordering your tickets through Eventbrite, there are “add on” options that will provide directed support to various opeatonal and programming areas. Please note: charitable tax receipts are available for donations provided through our website; “add ons” through Eventbrite are not considered charitable donations.

The receipt you received when purchasing your tickets is a receipt of purchase.
Canada Revenue Agency has clear guidelines on when charitable event tickets are eligible for receipts. Not all charitable event tickets are eligible for a receipt and many are only eligible for a portion of the ticket price.
A charitable tax receipt will not be available for 2024's ticket purchases, but donations made on our website or during the evening will be eligible for a tax receipt.
